Overview

Handbound is designed as a private, local notebook. Handbound does not collect, transmit, sell, or track personal data from the app.

Notebook content

Your handwritten notes, sketches, imported templates, and notebook files are stored on your device. Handbound does not upload notebook content to a Handbound server or developer-operated cloud service.

Data collection and analytics

Handbound does not use advertising networks, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking technologies, or behavioral profiling. The app does not require a Handbound account.

Exporting, printing, and sharing

Handbound lets you deliberately export, print, or share content using features provided by iPadOS. When you choose to do so, the destination service you select may process that content under its own privacy policy. Handbound does not automatically send your notebook content to those services.

Imported files

If you import a PDF template or Handbound notebook package, the file is used on your device for the purpose you selected. Handbound does not transmit imported files to the developer.

Children

Handbound does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users because the app does not collect personal data.

Changes to this policy

If Handbound’s privacy practices change in a future version, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those changes are released.
